Job Description

Use appropriate strategies to purchase the company’s needs at reasonable prices. Discovering suppliers, initiating contracting, and creating business and organizational partnerships. Negotiating with sellers to secure favorable price and quality terms. Agreeing to request the necessary goods and services from the different departments. · Finalize purchase orders and delivery details. Examining and testing existing contracts and ascertaining contract renewal dates. Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements. Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets. Building and developing the purchasing department, setting purchasing plans, and drawing up policies and procedures. Providing the needs of each department of raw materials and setting the appropriate budget. Building and developing an annual catering plan according to the sales vision and strategy. Constant search for new suppliers for the targeted products. Building, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Make a periodic plan at the end of each year and update policies and procedures. Building the various structures and models used in the procurement department. Maintaining files of internal and external purchase requisitions, quotations and contracts, and creating databases for them. Constant communication with the warehouse management regarding the shortage of stock, the extent of storage capacity and the movement of the stock turnover rate. Preparing the orders received from the various departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until receiving them. Reviewing suppliers’ offers and responding to them positively or negatively. Regularly follow up on changes in product prices. Communicate with the party requesting the goods and follow up the required materials at the right time and appropriate manner. Ensure the quality of the documentary cycle of procurement processes.
