Job Description

• Support the Purchasers of Farms, Packing, and CAPEX in identifying procurement needs.
• Process purchase orders and manage related documentation.
• Assist in supplier research, ensuring cost-effective and reliable vendors.
• Track inventory levels and monitor order statuses.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs.
• Help evaluate supplier performance and address issues related to quality or delivery.
• Assist in contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support in negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role is an advantage.
o Exposure to agribusiness procurement and supplier management is desirable.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Familiarity with procurement software and basic ERP systems is a plus.
• Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Soft Skills:
o Strong organizational and communication skills.
o Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.
o Good negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
