Job Description

  • Works with online merchants and stores to integrate their websites with Opay Egypt – Payment gateway platform. 
  • ii. Support the integration activities and technical support for payment gateway business.
  • iii. Support the onboarding activities and configuration of PGW partners as well as business and risk approvals follow ups.
  • iv. Provides ongoing integration monitoring and technical support to merchants/partners. 
  • v. Ensures a high quality of service, troubleshooting merchants technical issues in real-time, in cooperation with their development teams.
  • vi. Responsible for technical and business communication with partners including banks and other financial institutions. 
  • vii. Communicates merchant needs to the Opay Egypt product team, to improve people’s experiences with our products.
  • viii. Provides on-call support deliver impactful results and assistance, through data based root cause analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science related field or relevant experience.
  • ii. 2+ years of operations experience (preferably in the Payments or FinTech company).
  • iii. Good technical understanding of online payment processing flows (Merchants, Acquirer Banks, Issuers bank)
  • iv. Basic understanding in one or more of the following language PHP, Python, , Objective-C/C++, Swift, Java, or C#
  • v. Excellent analytical, deduction, and problem-solving skills.
  • vi. Good written and verbal presentation skills
